Wild Roots is a full-service neighbourhood restaurant in Tusket with local ingredients at the forefront. We strive to use the best ingredients our community has to offer in a bright and inviting space. Our restaurant is the perfect place to celebrate any special occasion, business meeting, date night, or a night out with the family. 

Located only minutes from the town of Yarmouth & The CAT ferry.

Our Services

LUNCH SERVICE:

Fast and casual service with freshly made soups, salads, and sandwiches made in-house daily with care. The menu will change weekly and focus on the seasons.


DINNER SERVICE:

Table service with a small menu that will change with the seasons. Enjoy a beverage from our locally focused wine and beer lists or small cocktail menu.

OWNER/CHEF

Born and raised in Pubnico, Kylie has always been passionate about food. After high school, she attended NSCC and received her diploma in culinary arts. From there she has worked in many restaurants in Halifax/Dartmouth such as The Bicycle Thief, Agricola Street Brasserie and The Canteen. From there she moved to Edmonton with her family. After a year of living in Alberta, she missed Nova Scotia so she decided to move back home to her roots to open her own restaurant in her hometown. She is extremely passionate about food and loves learning new things in the kitchen. She is a proud wife and mother of two. When she isn't in the kitchen you can find her with her friends and family.
